Who Inspects the Work in Rolesville
Rolesville does not run its own electrical inspections. Wake County Permits and Inspections handles them under an agreement with the town, along with Knightdale, Wendell and Zebulon and the unincorporated parts of the county. That means the permit for your panel, your generator or your EV charger goes through Wake County at 336 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, and a county inspector comes out to sign it off.
On work that needs a permit, we pull it, we book the inspection and we are there to meet the inspector. County field inspections run from 7:15 in the morning, so you are not taking a day off to sit and wait for someone.
