SPARKWISE ELECTRICAL

When Something Is Wrong and You Want It Found

Most electrical problems do not announce what they are. A breaker trips, half a room goes dark, a light flickers when the dryer runs, and the cause could be a failed breaker, a loose connection thirty feet away, or a circuit that has quietly been overloaded for years. This is diagnostic work, and it is a different job from quoting a panel or a charger. Sparkwise Electrical troubleshoots and repairs home electrical problems across Wake, Johnston, Durham, Orange, Harnett, Wilson, Wayne, Nash, Chatham and Franklin counties.

SPARKWISE ELECTRICAL

What We Get Called About

Breakers that trip and will not stay reset. Outlets or an entire room that suddenly went dead. Lights that flicker or dim when an appliance starts. A GFCI that will not reset no matter how many times you press the button. Switch plates or outlets that feel warm. Buzzing from the panel or a fixture. A burning smell you cannot place. Power that came back strange after a storm. If it is on that list, do not keep resetting the breaker to see what happens. A breaker that trips immediately is doing its job, and the fault is still there. If the fault is in low-voltage wiring, landscape lighting, a doorbell or a data line, that is covered on our low-voltage and landscape lighting page.

How the Service Call Works, With the Price Up Front

Diagnostic work cannot honestly be quoted sight unseen, so we do not pretend to. Instead the service call is a flat rate that includes the diagnostic, and you hear that price on the phone before anything is booked. The technician tracks the fault down, shows you what they found, and explains it in plain language. The estimate for the repair itself is free. You decide with the facts and the price in front of you, and nothing starts until you say so.

How a Repair Visit Actually Goes

Electrician testing a dead outlet during a home electrical repair

01

You Tell Us the Symptom: What happens, where, and when it started. If a photo helps, text it to (984) 233-3519. We give you the flat service-call price on that same call.

02

We Track the Fault Down: Testing at the panel, the devices and the connections in between, rather than guessing and replacing parts until something changes.

03

You See What We Found: The technician shows you the problem and explains what caused it and what it would take to put right. The repair estimate is free.

04

The Repair, Done Properly: Most repairs happen the same visit once you approve the estimate. Anything that needs a part or a permit is scheduled before we leave.

05

Tested Before We Go: The circuit goes back together, gets tested under load, and you see it working before the truck leaves.
